Pawnbroking is the ideal solution to raising cash fast, without permanently parting with your watch or jewellery items. We will offer you a cash loan based on the highest market value of your item(s).

A loan offer will be made to you instantly

Accept the offer and we will immediately give you cash – no waiting

Your items will remain in storage with us under secure conditions, until the loan is repaid. Once the loan has been repaid in full, it will be returned to you unconditionally and free of charge.

The loan term is for up to six months with a single repayment at the end of six months. There are no monthly payments and nothing to pay until the end of the loan term. However, you can pay back the loan from The Medway Diamond House at any time during the six months simply by paying off the loan amount and the outstanding interest due.

You are also able to renew the loan term at any time, simply by paying off the outstanding interest due and starting again with a new loan contract against your items.

Your unwanted jewellery can be exchanged for another item of jewellery, or services at The Medway Diamond House. We will consider jewellery for part exchange that might not be suitable for resale. When you have your jewellery, watches or silverware valued, you’ll find out their current replacement value. You’ll also gain the reassurance that, if anything is lost, damaged or stolen, your insurance claim will be quick and straightforward.

We hope no harm ever comes to your treasured possessions but it’s important that your items are insured, just in case you ever need to make a claim. Many insurers require a valuation schedule within 3 years for it to be considered valid.

Engraving

We offer a full machine or hand engraving service.

Machine engraving is generally used for relatively straightforward tasks such as presentation plates and trophies. It is less expensive than hand engraving and gives a uniform finish.

Hand engraving is more costly as it is a more highly skilled and time consuming process. The range of items that that can be engraved by hand is much greater than that which can be done by machine. The range of styles is also much greater and, although we have a style card for guidance, we can also copy a design and even reverse-engrave a monogram or family crest for sealing.
